Wilson Sisters Education & Training Academy
WSETA offers culturally competent and core curriculum aligned. Sessions build on each other and include community building, exploring the problems in the world and how children can make a difference, fundraising, event planning, relationship development, vision planning, writing mission statements, making connections to internal and external networks of supporters, and executing a charitable project in teams to raise awareness and provide a financial donation to a worthy cause.
To honor the lives of Amelia, Kathlena, Ruby and Carolyn, JasD’Jor: Emerging Philanthropists nurtures the gifts of young people between the ages of 6 to 18, teaching them the ethic of philanthropic giving. Young people are taught the art of branding, fundraising, event planning, contract negotiation basics, basic accounting, board relationships, and reporting to boards, decision making on dispensing grant funds and much more. A team of professionals in the non-profit sector, accounting, business, law and the arts serve Jasd’Jor as volunteers in our programs that typically last for 7-8 four hour sessions.
