Our Programs

The purpose and mission of JasD’Jor will be accomplished in the following ways:

WSETA: With the establishment of the Wilson Sisters Education and Training Academy to honor the lives of Amelia, Kathlena, Ruby and Carolyn, JasD’Jor: Emerging Philanthropists will  nurture the gifts of young people between the ages of 6 to 18, and train them in the ethic of philanthropic giving. Young people will be trained in how to raise funds for worthy causes, event planning, contract negotiation, basic accounting, reporting to boards, decision making on dispensing grant funds and much more. Trainers and teachers will be volunteers from the world of philanthropy, business, law, accounting, event planning, marketing, etc.

Peppermint Promises: A portion of all monies raised by JasD’Jor: Emerging Philanthropists will go to providing direct grants to children (the siblings) and community members affected by a loved one’s health condition to fund fun-filled cultural events and other activities and trips that will provide an opportunity to set aside the heavy burden of thinking of and coping with their loved one’s illness.

Testimonial From T. Taylor

…The equipment was such a blessing. It helped open up a world of possibilities. The trampoline allowed my child to release a lot of energy that would have otherwise been cooped up inside or come out in a disruptive manner.

… The crash bag gave me an awakening. It gave me an opportunity to enjoy my kids like I haven’t since they were babies.

… Thank you all so much for being the best medicine that the doctor couldn’t ever have prescribed. Thank you for bringing happiness and joy into my family’s home!
